The fish market is located near Kačić Square, which is the main square. Every morning, starting from 6 a.m., you can find a great number of fresh saltwater fish and shellfish, such as prawns, squids, scampi, the European bass, the striped red mullet, the sole, mussels, the gilt-head bream and other fresh seafood. At the waterfront, you can also buy fish caught with trawls, purse seine and other fishing boats.
