Makarska, June 28, 2025 – Tennis fans have already booked their hotels in Makarska for the first week of June. From June 2 to 8, one of the most renowned tennis tournaments will take place there - WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar. Everything is ready, according to the organizers, who are promising another exciting week of top-tier tennis, major concerts, and a rich entertainment program.

During the final weekend at the Tennis Center, sports fans, tennis players, locals, and their guests will be entertained by some of the most popular bands and performers. On Friday at 9 PM, Crvena Jabuka will take the stage as part of their major tour celebrating 40 years of their career. The next day, June 7, after the semifinal matches, Giuliano will fire up the atmosphere from 9 PM. Then on Sunday, June 8, at 9:30 PM, the always-popular Frajle – close friends of the tournament – will entertain the audience.
Before the Sunday showdown between the top players at this year’s WTA Makarska Open, rackets will cross in an exhibition match between Šime Elez and Miloš Mićović, familiar faces from the reality show The Bachelor, recently aired on RTL.

A weekend ticket grants access to the tournament finals and all concerts.
Starting May 30, weekend tickets are available at a promotional price, granting access to the semifinal and final matches, as well as all concerts from Friday to Sunday.
As in previous years, proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity, so fans of top-tier tennis and great music will also be supporting a new humanitarian initiative by purchasing a ticket.
Tournament director Feliks Lukas, in his signature style, also teased a surprise guest who will perform at the final. Rumors are swirling around several names—some are hoping for the mega-popular Baby Lasagna, while others would love to see Martin Kosovec, winner of the latest season of The Voice, or his younger colleague, The Voice Kids winner Marin Vrgoč, perform in Makarska.

“In addition to promoting top-level sport and our host city of Makarska, we strive each year to create unforgettable entertainment for the local community, tourists staying in Makarska, and our audience at the Tennis Center,” says Feliks Lukas. “Our tournament is known for its friendly atmosphere and social spirit, as well as its unique setting just steps from the beach. Promoting inclusion in sports is extremely important to us, which is why, every year, we organize ‘Wheelchair Tennis’ in collaboration with our friend Sven Maretić. This time, we haven’t forgotten about the youngest either—we’re preparing two special Kids’ Days: *Kids Serve Love* on June 4 at Father Petar Perica Elementary School, and *Little Aces* on June 5 at Kačić Square in the city center,” Lukas emphasizes.
