On September 18th, Makarska will host a spectacular reenactment of one of the most important battles in the Adriatic – the Naval Battle of 887.The Neretva pirates, led by Duke Branimir, dealt a major defeat to the Venetian Republic, marking the celebration of Croatian Navy Day.
On Thursday, September 18, starting at 7:30 PM, experience dramatic conflicts at sea through a costumed reenactment and get a glimpse of the historical bravery of Croatian sailors. In addition to the spectacular battle, you will also enjoy a concert by the legendary Jurica Pađen & Aerodrom for an unforgettable finale to the evening!
