On the occasion of the celebration of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders, the Makarska City Museum is offering free admission and tours of the Veliki Kaštel Interpretation Center in Kotišina to all visitors on Monday, August 4th, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Visitors will have the opportunity, with expert guidance, to explore the interior of the fortress built during the Cretan War in the 17th century, which was renovated and opened to the public in 2021.
Experience the “flight of the eagle” through modern VR glasses, and explore the rest of the multimedia exhibition spread across six floors of Veliki Kaštel. We look forward to your visit, say the Makarska City Museum.
