From June 1 to 7, Makarska will once again host one of the most important women’s tennis tournaments in the region – the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary in Croatia. The tournament will bring together numerous international female tennis players at the courts of the Tennis Center Makarska, while organizers are also announcing a rich accompanying program featuring concerts, social gatherings, and entertainment for visitors.

Special attention is being drawn to a concert by Severina at Kačić Square, while Indira and Mateo Đikić will also take part in the program. This year’s edition gains additional significance after the WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar was named the second best-organized WTA 125 tournament in the world according to votes cast by the players themselves.
