MAKARSKA TOWN MUSEUM

The City Museum of Makarska is located in the Baroque Tonoli Palace, built in the second half of the 18th century on the western side of the city’s waterfront and harbor, registered as an immovable cultural monument. The museum’s exhibition and working space are situated on the first floor of the palace, where exhibits are displayed in showcases. The museum houses ten collections: the Archaeological Collection, Ethnographic Collection, Numismatic Collection, Cultural-Historical Collection, Photography Collection, Postcard Collection, Poster Collection, Map Collection, the Gojak Donation Collection, and the Collection of Contemporary Authors.
