MAESTRALE Storytelling tours
Maestrale is a new wind of hidden Makarska, reviving the town’s rich history through tradition, culture, art, and tourism. It serves as a meeting point connecting locals, tourists, and passersby. Designed as an opportunity to discover Makarska through its hidden alleyways, local craftsmen, creative artists, and contemporary art installations, Maestrale brings a breath of original cultural refreshment to the city.
Maestrale DETOUR offers tourists a unique new experience of Makarska – the opportunity to join guided, costumed tours through the old town. The experience is enriched with storytelling and surprise pop-up performances by local klapa singers, choirs, and folklore groups. Tours take place every Wednesday from June to September. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. Register in time to secure your spot!
